With the close proximity to Kiva, Baldwin and Pope beach, the Gardner Mountain neighborhood of South Lake Tahoe is also close to the South Tahoe High School. Lots of US Forest service trails offer excellent hiking on your way to Fallen Leaf Lake. Nearby Camp Richardson also has a nice campground, restaurants and lots of activities for the family. Gardner Mountain offers many older homes and Old Tahoe cabins as well as new construction homes.
